My former teaching colleague and long time friend Hazel is a great walker, and along with her husband has enjoyed many walking holidays throughout Europe. So she was a natural choice to invite on the walk and it’ll be lovely to have her company. She’s looking forward to helping Val to get home.
Hazel doesn’t have a particular favourite place to walk, she just enjoys exploring new places on foot. She was with me when I completed my “walk 1000 miles in 2021” challenge, and produced Prosecco and glasses out of her rucksack like a conjurer bringing a rabbit out of a hat. What a star!
