John is a vital part of the logistics of the Reiki Ramble! He is my husband of almost 35 years and is one of the loveliest guys you could hope to meet. However he is definitely NOT a walker, he’s much happier playing his ‘cello or on a computer! So he has kindly agreed to transport the ramblers to and from the start and end points of the walk. (Thank goodness for sat nav as he freely admits he’s not the world’s best navigator…..!)
I did manage to get him to walk a bit of the way with me, from Robin Hood’s Bay to Ravenscar on the Cinder Track as you can see! It took a long time but he made it despite his long covid. What a hero!

14 hikers, 3 cyclists and a slow-moving waitress were trampled underfoot on my way to the cake counter in the tearoom!
