Christine, another long time holistic friend, is joining us at the end of the Reiki Ramble at Scarborough North Bay on the Sunday to help me provide mini Reiki treatments in exchange for donations. She would like to introduce herself:
Hi, I’m Christine.
I know Lois through my love of holistic therapies. Back in 2012 I received reiki from Lois whilst pregnant with my now 13 year old daughter! We have become great friends and now sometimes offer holistic therapies alongside each other. Being a now retired Registered Nurse of 30 years I get to deliver these wonderful holistic treatments, my new passion, reiki being one of them! 🙏
As well as raising a young family I love being outdoors and have also more recently discovered cold water dipping in Yorkshire…..brrrrr!! (Lois and friends you are an inspiration!). When I heard about Val’s story and the reiki ramble I wanted to do something to support the cause & the opportunity to be by the Yorkshire coast will bring lots of happy memories of all our family holidays with the children. So, I will be offering reiki treatments on the 3rd day and hope this goes some way towards Val getting the adaptations she needs. 💖
