OMG!!! 3 days to go! I feel a bit like I did waiting for the various orthopaedic operations I’ve had, just want to get on with it now we’re this close! Val is waiting to keep up with our progress. Thankfully, Tracie has kindly distracted me with her lovely poem for Val and the Reiki Ramble! Enjoy.
Walking far across the cliffs ,
Chatting ,laughing , admiring the views
Raising money, with a smile , we will think of Val across the miles …
She’s travelling with us in our thoughts
And in every step we wander ,she’ll be there .
As we take the paths around the coast
We’ll remember why this means the most ….
For all the ones who knew her then, and those she’s helped face darkest days
The fight she’s shown, the grit and strength,
For her we’ll walk the coastal way.
