My literary efforts yesterday have inspired some of the other Reiki Ramblers to create poems too! Today we’re sharing the one by lovely Christine, our Reiki provider on Sunday May 3rd. She hopes to be at Scarborough North Bay from around 3pm to 4.45pm. Enjoy!
I heard about a lady,
Val was her given name,
a tale of heroism,
an inspiration in the game…
of life, you see it is a space
we tread along the way
to truly see what we are made of ,
grit and love, and from a place,
of many friends who wish
to tread the Yorkshire coast
and sea, the donators, we may never meet, though they are so much more,
they share a deep desire to care, and share love on the Eastern shore
of Yorkshire, for a lady named Val who has given so much more,
whose desire it is to return home soon, for good, and truly for sure,
Reiki too is offered as a gift of hope, and love and peace,
that in this energy we wish to bring, about some ease.
In this place of wind and sea and promise, that is the Northern sea.
